एष हातिबल: शूर: कृतास्त्रो युद्धदुर्मद: । वैवस्वत इवासहा: शक्तो जेतुं रणे रिपून्ू
eṣa hātibalaḥ śūraḥ kṛtāstro yuddha-durmadaḥ | vaivasvata ivāsahaḥ śakto jetuṃ raṇe ripūn ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇവൻ ആനയെപ്പോലെ ബലവാൻ, ശൂരൻ, അസ്ത്രവിദ്യയിൽ പൂർണ്ണപരിശീലനം നേടിയവൻ, യുദ്ധോന്മാദത്തിൽ ദുർദമൻ. വൈവസ്വതനായ യമനെപ്പോലെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്ക് അസഹ്യൻ; അതിനാൽ രണഭൂമിയിൽ ശത്രുക്കളെ ജയിക്കാൻ ശേഷിയുള്ളവൻ.
