सुनीतैरिह सर्वार्थि्दैवमप्यनुलोम्यते । ते वयं प्रवरं नृणां सर्वैर्गुणगणैर्युतम्‌

Transliteration

saṃjaya uvāca | sunītair iha sarvārthair daivam apy anulomyate | te vayaṃ pravaraṃ nṛṇāṃ sarvair guṇagaṇair yutam |

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇവിടെ എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും സുനീതിയുടെയും ധർമ്മസമ്മതമായ ആചരണത്തിന്റെയും പ്രകാരം നടത്തുകയാണെങ്കിൽ ദൈവവും അനുകൂലമാകും. അതിനാൽ, ഹേ ഭാരതാ! സർവ്വഗുണഗണങ്ങളാൽ യുക്തനായ നരശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ കർണനെ സേനാപതി പദത്തിൽ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യും; അവനെ സേനാപതിയാക്കി ശത്രുക്കളെ മഥിച്ചുതകർക്കും.
