ते जघ्नुस्तौ महेष्वासौ ताभ्यां मुक्तांश्व सायकान् | विचेरुराकाशगता: पार्थबाणविदारिता:
te jaghnus tau maheṣvāsau tābhyāṁ muktāṁś ca sāyakān | vicerur ākāśagatāḥ pārthabāṇavidāritāḥ ||
ആ അമ്പുകൾ ആ രണ്ടു മഹാധനുർധരന്മാരെയും അവർ വിട്ട ശരങ്ങളെയും പോലും ചിന്നിച്ചിതറിച്ചു. പാർത്ഥന്റെ അമ്പുകൾ കൊണ്ട് തകർന്ന ശത്രുശരങ്ങൾ കഷ്ണങ്ങളായി ആകാശത്തിൽ ചുറ്റി നടന്നു.
