धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा तथा द्रोणविषयकप्रश्नाः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Fainting and Questions Concerning Droṇa
केडरक्षन् दक्षिणं चक्रं सव्यं के च महात्मन:
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | ke ’rakṣan dakṣiṇaṃ cakraṃ savyaṃ ke ca mahātmanaḥ | ke vīrāḥ purato droṇasya yuddhe yuddhaparāyaṇāḥ | ke ca tyaktvā śarīrasnehaṃ pratyapadyanta vai ripūn | raṇe mṛtyuṃ ca ye prāpuḥ ||
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മഹാത്മാവേ! ആ വ്യൂഹത്തിന്റെ വലതു ചക്രത്തെ ആരാണ് കാത്തത്, ഇടതു ചക്രത്തെ ആരാണ്? യുദ്ധപരായണനായ ദ്രോണാചാര്യന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ രണഭൂമിയിൽ ഏത് വീരന്മാർ നിലകൊണ്ടു? കൂടാതെ ദേഹമോഹം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് പ്രതിപക്ഷത്തെ നേരിട്ട് ആ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ മരണത്തെ വരിച്ചവർ ആരാണ്?
