नरनारायणोौ क्रुद्धौ ज्ञात्वा देवा: सवासवा: । व्यथिताश्रिन्तयामासु: किंस्विदेतद् भविष्यति,नर और नारायणको कुपित जान इन्द्रसहित सम्पूर्ण देवता व्यथित हो चिन्ता करने लगे; यह क्या होनेवाला है?
nara-nārāyaṇau kruddhau jñātvā devāḥ savāsavāḥ | vyathitāś cintayāmāsuḥ kiṃ svid etad bhaviṣyati ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നരനും നാരായണനും ക്രുദ്ധരായെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, ഇന്ദ്രനോടുകൂടിയ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും വ്യാകുലരായി ചിന്തിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി—“ഇനി എന്താണ് സംഭവിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നത്?”
