द्रोण–सात्यकि द्वैरथम्
Droṇa and Sātyaki: The Chariot Duel
व्यूढानीका वयं द्रोणं वारयाम: सम सर्वश: । प्रतिव्यूह्ू रथानीकं यतमानं तथा रणे
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
vyūḍhānīkā vayaṁ droṇaṁ vārayāmaḥ sama sarvaśaḥ |
prativyūhya rathānīkaṁ yatamānaṁ tathā raṇe ||
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഞങ്ങൾ സേനയെ വ്യൂഹബദ്ധമായി നിരത്തി ദ്രോണനെ എല്ലാദിക്കിലും എല്ലാരീതിയിലും തടഞ്ഞു. അവൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ രഥദളങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടും പ്രതിവ്യൂഹമായി ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തി മുന്നേറാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചപ്പോഴൊക്കെയും, ഞങ്ങളും വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും സേനയെ വ്യൂഹമായി അണിനിരത്തി അവനെ മുന്നോട്ട് പോകാൻ അനുവദിച്ചില്ല.
