Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 49: Yudhiṣṭhira’s Lament and Strategic Foreboding after Abhimanyu’s Fall
त॑ भूमौ पतितं दृष्टवा तावकास्ते महारथा: । मुदा परमया युक्ताश्रुक्रुशु: सिंहवन्मुहु:
sañjaya uvāca | taṁ bhūmau patitaṁ dṛṣṭvā tāvakās te mahārathāḥ | mudā paramayā yuktāḥ śuśruśuḥ siṁhavan muhuḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അവനെ ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണുകിടക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ട നിങ്ങളുടെ മഹാരഥന്മാർ പരമാനന്ദത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞ് വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും സിംഹംപോലെ ഗർജിച്ചു.
