स तन्न ममृषे द्रोण: पाञ्चाल्येनार्दितो मृधे । ततस्तस्य विनाशाय सत्वरं व्यसृजच्छरान्‌

Transliteration

sa tan na mamṛṣe droṇaḥ pāñcālyenārdito mṛdhe | tatas tasya vināśāya satvaraṁ vyasṛjac charān |

Translation

യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പാഞ്ചാലരാജകുമാരനായ സത്യജിത്തിന്റെ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ പീഡിതനായ ദ്രോണൻ അത് സഹിച്ചില്ല; അതിനാൽ അവന്റെ നാശത്തിനായി ഉടൻ തന്നെ അമ്പുകളുടെ മഴ വിട്ടു.
