तस्यापि च वधोपायं वक्ष्यामि तव पाण्डव । पाण्डुनन्दन! युद्धमें दुर्योधनका भी वध भीमसेन करेंगे। उसके वधका उपाय भी मैं तुम्हें बताऊँगा ।। वर्धते तुमुलस्त्वेष शब्द: परचमूं प्रति
tasyāpi ca vadhōpāyaṁ vakṣyāmi tava pāṇḍava | pāṇḍunandana! yuddhe duryodhanasyāpi vadhaṁ bhīmasenaḥ kariṣyati | tasya vadhasyōpāyam api ahaṃ tvāṁ vaktum icchāmi || vardhate tumulas tv eṣa śabdaḥ paracamūṃ prati ||
വായുദേവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ പാണ്ഡവാ, അവന്റെ വധോപായവും ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയും. ഹേ പാണ്ഡുനന്ദനാ, യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ദുര്യോധനന്റെ വധം നിശ്ചയമായും ഭീമസേനൻ തന്നെ നടത്തും; ആ വധം സാധിപ്പാനുള്ള യുക്തിയും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കും. ഇതാ, ശത്രുസൈന്യത്തേക്കു നേരെ ഭീകരമായ തുമുലഘോഷം ഉയർന്നു വരുന്നു.
