Educational Q&A

Human capacities—whether intellectual brilliance (buddhi) or heroic prowess (vikrama)—are insufficient to measure the full scope of the Divine’s actions; the verse emphasizes humility before Hṛṣīkeśa’s unfathomable agency.

In the Drona Parva war account, Vaiśampāyana addresses Sañjaya, underscoring that Kṛṣṇa’s interventions and strategies in the conflict are beyond complete human assessment, framing events as guided by a higher, immeasurable power.
