Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the kṣatriya ethos in wartime: when formidable opponents advance, a warrior meets them without hesitation. Ethically, it portrays resolve and readiness to face danger directly, emphasizing courage and steadfastness amid the chaos of battle.

Two powerful warriors rush forward together; seeing their swift approach, Bhīma (Vṛkodara) hastens and charges toward them at great speed, moving to engage them in combat.
