प्रेषिताश्न महामात्रैवरिणा: परवारणै:। अभ्यघ्नन्त विषाणाग्रैरवारिणानेव संयुगे
preṣitāś ca mahāmātrair ariṇāḥ paravāraṇaiḥ | abhyaghnanta viṣāṇāgrair avāriṇān eva saṁyuge ||
മഹാമാത്രന്മാരായ സേനാനായകർ മുന്നോട്ട് തള്ളിയ ശത്രുപക്ഷത്തിലെ ആനകൾ, പ്രതിപക്ഷ ആനകളെ നേരിട്ട് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി, യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ ദന്തങ്ങളുടെ മൂർച്ചയുള്ള അഗ്രങ്ങളാൽ അവരെ കുത്തി പ്രഹരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു।
