एवमेतं महाव्यूहं व्यूह्यू भारत पाण्डवा: । अतिष्ठन् समरे शूरा योद्धुकामा जयैषिण:,भरतनन्दन! इस प्रकार अपनी सेनाके इस महाव्यूहका निर्माण करके युद्धकी कामना और विजयकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाले शूरवीर पाण्डव समरभूमिमें खड़े थे
evam etaṁ mahāvyūhaṁ vyūhya bhārata pāṇḍavāḥ | atiṣṭhan samare śūrā yoddhukāmā jayaiṣiṇaḥ ||
ഹേ ഭാരതാ! ഇങ്ങനെ മഹാവ്യൂഹം വ്യൂഹിച്ച്, യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ജയത്തെ തേടുകയും ചെയ്ത ശൂര പാണ്ഡവർ സമരഭൂമിയിൽ ദൃഢമായി നിലകൊണ്ടു.
