चित्रोपलां चित्ररथां मज्जुलां वाहिनीं तथा । मन्दाकिनीं वैतरणीं कोषां चापि महानदीम्
citropalāṁ citrarathāṁ majjulāṁ vāhinīṁ tathā | mandākinīṁ vaitaraṇīṁ koṣāṁ cāpi mahānadīm ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ചിത്രോപലാ, ചിത്രരഥാ, മജ്ജുലാ, വാഹിനീ; അതുപോലെ മന്ദാകിനീ, വൈതരണീ, കോഷാ, മഹാനദീ—ഇത്തരം നാമങ്ങളുള്ള (ക്രമബദ്ധമായ) വിഭാഗങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.
संजय उवाच
