अभ्यधावन्त संक्रुद्धा: केकया: पञज्च सोदरा: । उनके बाणसमूहोंसे यशस्वी शतानीकको आच्छादित होते देख क्रोधमें भरे हुए पाँच भाई केकयराजकुमारोंने उन पाँचों महारथियोंपर धावा किया || ५३ हू ।। तानभ्यापतत: प्रेक्ष्य तव पुत्रा महारथा:
abhya-dhāvanta saṅkruddhāḥ kekayāḥ pañca sodarāḥ | tān abhyāpatataḥ prekṣya tava putrā mahā-rathāḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ക്രോധം നിറഞ്ഞ കೇಕയരുടെ അഞ്ചു സഹോദരന്മാർ പാഞ്ഞെത്തി. അവർ ആക്രമിച്ചു വരുന്നതു കണ്ട നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ—മഹാരഥന്മാർ—പ്രതിക്രമിക്കാൻ സജ്ജരായി.
