अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

ततो दृष्टवा प्रधावन्तं गदाहस्तं महाबलम् । सर्वेषामेव सैन्यानां संहर्ष: समजायत
tato dṛṣṭvā pradhāvantaṃ gadāhastaṃ mahābalam | sarveṣām eva sainyānāṃ saṃharṣaḥ samajāyata ||
അപ്പോൾ ഗദ കൈയിൽ പിടിച്ച് മഹാബലത്തോടെ പാഞ്ഞുവരുന്ന ആ വീരനെ കണ്ടതുമാത്രത്തിൽ, എല്ലാ സൈന്യങ്ങളിലും ഒരുമിച്ച് രണോത്സാഹവും ആവേശവും പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു।
