रथं रथेन समरे पीडयित्वा महाबलौ
rathaṃ rathena samare pīḍayitvā mahābalau |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സമരത്തിൽ ആ രണ്ടു മഹാബലന്മാർ രഥംകൊണ്ട് രഥത്തെ അമർത്തി പീഡിപ്പിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. പിന്നെ അവർ പരസ്പരത്തിന്റെ രഥങ്ങളും കുതിരകളും നശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ രഥരഹിതരായ ആ രണ്ടു മഹാരഥന്മാർ അടങ്ങാത്ത ക്രോധത്തോടെ ചാടിക്കുതിച്ച് മുഖാമുഖം ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി।
