भीष्मस्य मण्डलव्यूहः — Bhīṣma’s Maṇḍala Battle-Formation and the Opening Engagements
एवमुक्ता महेष्वासास्ते वीरा: क्षिप्रकारिण: । महता शरवर्षेण अभ्यधावन्नरिंदमम्
evam uktā maheṣvāsās te vīrāḥ kṣiprakāriṇaḥ | mahatā śaravarṣeṇa abhyadhāvann ariṃdamam bhūriśravāḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഭൂരിശ്രവാ അങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞതോടെ, വേഗത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ആ മഹാധനുർധര വീരന്മാർ മഹത്തായ അമ്പുവർഷം ചൊരിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് ശത്രുദമനായ ഭൂരിശ്രവായുടെ മേൽ പാഞ്ഞുകയറി.
