तेषां तथा कर्षतां तु गजानां रूपमाबभौ | सर:सु नलिनीजालं विषक्तमिव कर्षताम्‌

Transliteration

teṣāṃ tathā karṣatāṃ tu gajānāṃ rūpam ābabhau | saraḥsu nalinījālaṃ viṣaktam iva karṣatām ||

Translation

അങ്ങനെ വലിച്ചിഴക്കുന്ന ആ ആനകളുടെ രൂപം, തടാകങ്ങളിൽ താമരത്തണ്ടുകളുടെ വല കുടുങ്ങി വലിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുപോലെ തോന്നി.
