Makara-vyūha and Krauñca-prativyūha at Sunrise (मकरव्यूहः क्रौञ्चप्रतिव्यूहश्च)
साध्यानामपि देवानां देवदेवेश्वर: प्रभु: । लोकभावनभावज्ञ इति त्वां नारदोडब्रवीत्,'प्रभो! आप साध्यगण और देवताओंके भी स्वामी एवं देवदेवेश्वर हैं। आप सम्पूर्ण जगतके हृदयके भावोंको जाननेवाले हैं। आपके विषयमें नारदजीने ऐसा ही कहा है
sādhyānām api devānāṁ devadeveśvaraḥ prabhuḥ | lokabhāvanabhāvajña iti tvāṁ nārado ’bravīt ||
നീ സാധ്യന്മാരുടെയും ദേവന്മാരുടെയും പോലും അധിപൻ—ദേവദേവേശ്വരനായ പ്രഭു. ലോകങ്ങളുടെ ഭാവവും ജീവികളുടെ ഹൃദയഭാവവും അറിയുന്നവൻ നീ—എന്ന് നാരദൻ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു।
भीष्म उवाच
The verse affirms the supremacy and omniscience of the addressed Lord: He is higher than all classes of gods and knows the inner motives and feelings of beings, implying that true authority is grounded in complete moral and psychological insight.
Bhishma, speaking on the battlefield context of the Bhishma Parva, offers a eulogy identifying the addressed figure as the supreme divine ruler, citing Nārada’s testimony to validate this exalted status.
