सृष्टवा संकर्षणं देवं स्वयमात्मानमात्मना । कृष्ण त्वमात्मनासाक्षी: प्रद्मुम्नं चात्मसम्भवम्
sṛṣṭvā saṅkarṣaṇaṃ devaṃ svayam ātmānam ātmanā | kṛṣṇa tvam ātmanā sākṣīḥ pradyumnaṃ cātma-sambhavam ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ കൃഷ്ണാ! നീ നിന്റെ ആത്മസ്വരൂപം കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ നിന്നെയേ ദിവ്യ സംകർഷണനായി പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു; പിന്നെയും നിന്നിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ ആത്മസംഭവനായ പ്രദ്യുമ്നനെ ഉല്പാദിപ്പിച്ചു. നീയേ അന്തര്യാമി സാക്ഷി—സ്വയംസിദ്ധൻ, സ്വയംഭൂ, നിന്റെ വികാസങ്ങളുടെ ആദികാരണം.
