भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
तेनावध्या रणे पार्था जययुक्ताश्च पार्थिव । तव पुत्रा दुरात्मान: पापेष्वभिरता: सदा
tenāvadhyā raṇe pārthā jayayuktāś ca pārthiva | tava putrā durātmānaḥ pāpeṣv abhiratāḥ sadā ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അതിനാൽ, ഹേ രാജാവേ, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പൃഥാപുത്രരായ പാണ്ഡവർ അവധ്യർ; വിജയത്തോടു സ്ഥിരമായി യുക്തർ. എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ദുരാത്മാക്കൾ; എപ്പോഴും പാപമാർഗങ്ങളിൽ ആസക്തർ.
