ननाद बलवतन्नादं भगदत्त: प्रतापवान् | उन सब महारथियोंको भयभीत और भीमसेनको मूर्च्छित हुआ देख प्रतापी भगदत्तने बड़े जोरसे सिंहनाद किया ।। ५३ है ।। ततो घटोत्कचो राजन प्रेक्ष्य भीम॑ तथागतम्
nanāda balavattan nādaṃ bhagadattaḥ pratāpavān | tato ghaṭotkaco rājan prekṣya bhīmaṃ tathāgatam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പ്രതാപശാലിയായ ഭഗദത്തൻ മഹാരഥന്മാർ ഭീതരായതും ഭീമസേനൻ മൂർച്ചിതനായതും കണ്ടു ശക്തമായി സിംഹനാദം മുഴക്കി. തുടർന്ന്, രാജാവേ, ഭീമനെ ആ നിലയിൽ കണ്ട ഘടോത്കചൻ തന്റെ ബന്ധുവിന്റെ അപകടം മനസ്സിലാക്കി യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രതികരിക്കാൻ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി।
