Arjuna’s Advance toward Bhīṣma; The Gāṇḍīva’s Signal and the Armies’ Convergence (भीष्माभिमुखगमनम् — गाण्डीवनिर्घोष-ध्वजवर्णनम्)

पुत्रास्तु तव तं दृष्टया भीमसेनपराक्रमम्‌,राजन्‌! आपके जो अन्य शेष पुत्र वहाँ मौजूद थे, वे भीमसेनका पराक्रम देखकर उनके भयसे पीड़ित हो उन महामना पाण्डुकुमारके बाणकी मार खाते हुए सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें भाग गये

sañjaya uvāca | putrās tu tava taṃ dṛṣṭvā bhīmasena-parākramam, rājan, ye 'nye śeṣāḥ putrāḥ tatra samavasthitāḥ te 'pi tasya bhayena pīḍitāḥ mahāmanāḥ pāṇḍu-kumārasya bāṇa-māraṃ sahamānāḥ sarvā diśaḥ pradrutāḥ |

രാജാവേ! അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന നിന്റെ ശേഷിച്ച പുത്രന്മാർ ഭീമസേനന്റെ പരാക്രമം കണ്ടു ഭയാകുലരായി; മഹാത്മാവായ പാണ്ഡുപുത്രന്റെ ബാണവർഷം സഹിക്കാതെ എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലേക്കും ഓടിപ്പോയി.
