विगाहा[ तद् गजानीकं॑ भीमसेनो5पि पाण्डव: । व्यचरत् समरे मृद्नन् गजानिन्द्रो गिरीनिव
vigāhya tad gajānīkaṃ bhīmaseno 'pi pāṇḍavaḥ | vyacarat samare mṛdnann gajān indro girīn iva ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ മഹത്തായ ഗജസേനയിൽ കുതിച്ചുകയറി പാണ്ഡവനായ ഭീമസേനനും യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. അവൻ ആനകളെ ചവിട്ടിത്തകർത്തു—പർവ്വതങ്ങളെ പിളർക്കുന്ന വജ്രധാരി ഇന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ.
