स वासुदेव: प्रगृहीतचक्र: संवर्तयिष्यन्निव सर्वलोकम् | अभ्युत्पतल्लोकगुरुर्ब भासे भूतानि थक्ष्यन्निव धूमकेतु:,वे जगदगुरु वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण हाथमें चक्र ले मानो सम्पूर्ण जगत्का संहार करनेके लिये उद्यत थे और समस्त प्राणियोंको जलाकर भस्म कर डालनेके लिये उठी हुई प्रलयाग्निके समान प्रकाशित हो रहे थे
sa vāsudevaḥ pragṛhītacakraḥ saṃvartayiṣyann iva sarvalokam | abhyutpatal lokagurur babhāse bhūtāni dhakṣyann iva dhūmaketuḥ ||
കൈയിൽ ചക്രം പിടിച്ച വാസുദേവനന്ദനനായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ സർവ്വലോകങ്ങളെയും സംവർത്തിപ്പിക്കാൻ (പ്രളയത്തിലാക്കാൻ) ഒരുങ്ങിയവനെന്നപോലെ തോന്നി. ലോകഗുരുവായ അദ്ദേഹം മുന്നോട്ട് ചാടിയപ്പോൾ ധൂമകേതുവിനെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തനായി, സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങളെയും ദഹിപ്പിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങിയവനെന്നപോലെ പ്രകാശിച്ചു.
