भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)

अनुग्राह्मा: पाण्डुसुतास्तव नूनं पितामह । यथेमां क्षमसे वीर वध्यमानां वरूथिनीम्‌

anugrāhyāḥ pāṇḍusutās tava nūnaṃ pitāmaha | yathemāṃ kṣamase vīra vadhyamānāṃ varūthinīm ||

പിതാമഹാ, പാണ്ഡുപുത്രന്മാർ നിശ്ചയമായും നിങ്ങളുടെ അനുഗ്രഹപാത്രങ്ങളാണ്; ഹേ വീരാ, അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഈ സൈന്യവ്യൂഹം വധിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾ സഹിക്കുന്നു.
