भीमसेनस्य प्रतिघातः—भगदत्तगजप्रहारः—घटोत्कचमायायुद्धम्

अर्धचन्द्रेण व्यूहेन व्यूहं तमतिदारुणम् । दक्षिणं शुड्रमास्थाय भीमसेनो व्यरोचत
sañjaya uvāca | ardhacandreṇa vyūhena vyūhaṃ tam atidāruṇam | dakṣiṇaṃ śṛṅgam āsthāya bhīmaseno vyarocata ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അത്യന്തം ദാരുണമായ ആ വ്യൂഹത്തെ നേരിടാൻ അർദ്ധചന്ദ്രാകാര വ്യൂഹം ഒരുക്കി, അതിന്റെ ദക്ഷിണ ശൃംഗം—വലതുപക്ഷം—അവലംബിച്ച് ഭീമസേനൻ ദീപ്തനായി തെളിഞ്ഞു।
