Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)

न प्राजानन्त योधा: स्वान्‌ परस्परजिघांसया । घोरमासीत्‌ ततो युद्ध भीमस्य सहसा परै:

na prājānanta yodhāḥ svān parasparajighāṃsayā | ghoram āsīt tato yuddhaṃ bhīmasya sahasā paraiḥ ||

പരസ്പരം കൊല്ലാനുള്ള ഉന്മാദത്തിൽ യോദ്ധാക്കൾക്ക് സ്വന്തം കൂട്ടുകാരെയ്ക്കും തിരിച്ചറിയാനായില്ല. അപ്പോൾ എതിരാളികൾ പെട്ടെന്നു ഭീമന്റെ മേൽ പാഞ്ഞുകയറി; യുദ്ധം അത്യന്തം ഘോരമായി.
