उस समय मैंने वहाँ धृष्टद्युम्नका अद्भुत पराक्रम देखा। वह वीर समरांगणमें अकेला ही पर्वतके समान अविचल भावसे खड़ा रहा

Transliteration

tadā mayā tatra dhṛṣṭadyumnasya adbhutaṁ parākramaṁ dṛṣṭam | sa vīraḥ samarāṅgaṇe ekākī eva parvata-samo ’vicala-bhāvena tiṣṭhat sma |

Translation

അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവിടെ ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നന്റെ അത്ഭുതപരാക്രമം കണ്ടു. ആ വീരൻ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കായി പർവ്വതംപോലെ അചഞ്ചലനായി, ദൃഢനിശ്ചയത്തോടെ നിലകൊണ്ടു.
