Bhīṣma–Dhanaṃjaya Duel and the Opening Clash
शितधारैस्तथा खड्गैर्विमलैश्न परश्वधै: । शरैरन्यैश्व बहुभि: शस्त्रै्नानाविधेरपि
śitadhāraistathā khaḍgairvimalaiś ca paraśvadhaiḥ | śarair anyaiś ca bahubhiḥ śastrair nānāvidhair api ||
മൂർച്ചയുള്ള വാളുകളാലും, പ്രകാശമുള്ള നിർമല പരശുക്കളാലും, അനേകം അമ്പുകളാലും നാനാവിധ ആയുധങ്ങളാലും യോദ്ധാക്കൾ യുദ്ധത്തെ കൂടുതൽ ഉഗ്രമായി മുന്നോട്ട് തള്ളിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
