निर्विशेषमयुध्येतां कृतप्रतिकृतेषिणौ । वे दोनों वीर अत्यन्त हर्षमें भरकर युद्धका अभिनन्दन करनेवाले थे। दोनों ही दोनोंके किये हुए प्रहारका प्रतीकार करते हुए समानभावसे युद्ध करने लगे

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | nirviśeṣam ayudhyetāṃ kṛta-pratikṛteṣiṇau |

Translation

ആ രണ്ടു വീരന്മാരും അത്യന്തം ഹർഷത്തോടെ യുദ്ധത്തെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു; പരസ്പരപ്രഹാരങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉടൻ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്, യാതൊരു വ്യത്യാസവും കൂടാതെ സമഭാവത്തോടെ സമരത്തിൽ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി।
