उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
स्त्रिय: काश्रित्प्रजायन्ते चतस्र: पजच कन्यका: । जातमात्राश्च नृत्यन्ति गायन्ति च हसन्ति च
striyaḥ kāścid prajāyante catasraḥ pañca kanyakāḥ | jātamātrāś ca nṛtyanti gāyanti ca hasanti ca ||
ചില സ്ത്രീകൾ ഒരേ സമയം നാലോ അഞ്ചോ പെൺകുട്ടികളെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു; ജനിച്ച ഉടനെ തന്നെ ആ പെൺകുട്ടികൾ നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുകയും പാടുകയും ചിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു।
