Counter-deployment of Divisions and the Opening Tumult
मध्ये शिखण्डिनो<नीकं रक्षितं सव्यसाचिना । धृष्टय्युम्नश्नरन्ञग्रे भीमसेनेन पालित:
madhye śikhaṇḍino 'nīkaṃ rakṣitaṃ savyasācinā | dhṛṣṭadyumnaś carann agre bhīmasenena pālitaḥ ||
വ്യൂഹത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യഭാഗത്ത് സവ്യസാചിയായ അർജുനൻ കാത്തുനിന്ന ശിഖണ്ഡിയുടെ ദളമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; മുൻഭാഗത്ത് ഭീമസേനന്റെ കാവലിൽ ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നൻ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.
