तदड़पतिना गुप्तं कृपेण च मनस्विना । शारदाम्बुधरप्रख्यं प्राच्यानां सुमहद् बलम्,अंगराज तथा मनस्वी कृपाचार्यसे सुरक्षित पूर्वदेशीय क्षत्रियोंकी वह विशाल वाहिनी शरदऋतुके बादलोंके समान शोभा पाती थी
tad aṅgapatinā guptaṁ kṛpeṇa ca manasvinā | śāradāmbudharaprakhyaṁ prācyānāṁ sumahad balam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അംഗരാജനും മനസ്വിയായ കൃപനും കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിച്ച ആ പ്രാച്യരുടെ മഹാബലം ശരദ്കാല മേഘങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തമായി തിളങ്ങി നിന്നു।
