Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)
के<रक्षन् दक्षिण चक्र भीष्मस्यामिततेजस: । पृष्ठतः के परान् वीरानपासेधन् यतव्रता:
ke rakṣan dakṣiṇaṃ cakraṃ bhīṣmasyāmitatejasaḥ | pṛṣṭhataḥ ke parān vīrān apāsedhan yatavratāḥ ||
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അമിതതേജസ്സുള്ള ഭീഷ്മന്റെ രഥത്തിന്റെ വലതു ചക്രം ആരാണ് കാത്തത്? പിന്നിൽ നിലകൊണ്ട് ദൃഢവ്രതന്മാരായ ആരാണ് ശത്രുപക്ഷത്തിലെ വീരന്മാർ മുന്നേറാതിരിക്കാൻ തടഞ്ഞത്?
