ममावसानाच्छान्तिरस्तु प्रजानां संगच्छन्तां पार्थिवा: प्रीतिमन्त:ः । पिता पुत्र मातुलं भागिनेयो भ्राता चैव क्षातरं प्रैतु राजन्,“राजन! मेरे जीवनका अन्त होनेसे प्रजाओंमें शान्ति हो जाय। सब राजा प्रसन्नतापूर्वक एक-दूसरेसे मिलें। पिता पुत्रसे, भानजा मामासे और भाई भाईसे मिले
mamāvasānāc chāntir astu prajānāṃ saṅgacchantāṃ pārthivāḥ prītimantaḥ | pitā putra mātulaṃ bhāgineyo bhrātā caiva kṣātraṃ praitu rājan ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“രാജാവേ! എന്റെ ജീവിതാവസാനത്തോടെ പ്രജകളിൽ ശാന്തി വരട്ടെ. എല്ലാ രാജാക്കന്മാരും പരസ്പരം പ്രീതിയോടെ ഒന്നിക്കട്ടെ. പിതാവ് പുത്രനോടും, ഭാഗിനേയൻ (മരുമകൻ) മാതുലനോടും, സഹോദരൻ സഹോദരനോടും ഒന്നിക്കട്ടെ—രാജാവേ, ക്ഷാത്രവർഗം വീണ്ടും സൗഹൃദത്തിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങട്ടെ.”
