श्वेतच्छत्रसहस्राणि सध्वजाश्न महारथा: । विकीर्णा: समदृश्यन्त शतशो5थ सहस््रश:,सहस्रों सफेद छत्र इधर-उधर गिरे थे, ध्वजों-सहित सैकड़ों और हजारों महारथी सब ओर बिखरे दिखायी देते थे

śvetacchatrasahasrāṇi sadhvajāś ca mahārathāḥ | vikīrṇāḥ samadṛśyanta śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||

ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് വെളുത്ത കുടകൾ ഇവിടെ അവിടെ ചിതറിക്കിടന്നു; പതാകകളോടുകൂടിയ മഹാരഥന്മാരും നൂറുകളായും ആയിരങ്ങളായും എല്ലാടവും ചിതറിക്കാണപ്പെട്ടു।
