उपेन्द्रसदूश: श्यामो महाशाल इवोद्गत: । एष गच्छत्यनीकाग्रे द्वितीय इव फाल्गुन:
upendrasadṛśaḥ śyāmo mahāśāla ivodgataḥ | eṣa gacchaty anīkāgre dvitīya iva phālgunaḥ ||
കാണുക—ഉപേന്ദ്രൻ (വിഷ്ണു) പോലെയുള്ള ശ്യാമവർണ്ണനും മഹാശാലവൃക്ഷംപോലെ ഉയർന്നുനിൽക്കുന്ന അഭിമന്യു, രണ്ടാമൻ അർജുനനെന്നപോലെ സൈന്യവ്യൂഹത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രഭാഗത്ത് മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങുന്നു.
