एतदालोक्यते सैन्यं क्षोभ्यमाणं किरीटिना । महोर्मिनद्धं सुमहत् तिमिनेव महाजलम्
etad ālokyate sainyaṃ kṣobhyamāṇaṃ kirīṭinā | mahormiṇaddhaṃ sumahat timinā iva mahājalam ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ കിരീടധാരിയായ അർജുനൻ മൂലം കൗരവസേന കലങ്ങുന്നതായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു—മഹാതരംഗങ്ങളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ വിശാല സമുദ്രജലത്തെ ‘തിമി’ എന്ന മഹാമത്സ്യം മഥിച്ച് ഇളക്കുന്നതുപോലെ।
