Bhīṣma’s Fall, the Arrow-bed (śara-talpa), and the Establishment of Guard
नायं संरक्षितुं काल: प्राणान् पुत्रोपजीविभि: । याहि स्वर्ग पुरस्कृत्य यशसे विजयाय च
na ayaṁ saṁrakṣituṁ kālaḥ prāṇān putropajīvibhiḥ | yāhi svargaṁ puraskṛtya yaśase vijayāya ca |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “പുത്രന്മാരെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് ജീവിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് ഇത് സ്വന്തം പ്രാണരക്ഷയിൽ പറ്റിപ്പിടിക്കാനുള്ള സമയം അല്ല. സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തെ മുന്നിൽ വെച്ച്, യശസ്സിനും വിജയത്തിനുമായി ഭീഷ്മന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുക.”
