Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed
सात्यकि: समरे राजन् द्विधा चिच्छेद सायकै: । उनके बाहुबलसे प्रेरित होकर समरभूमिमें सहसा अपने ऊपर गिरती हुई उस शक्तिके सात्यकिने बाणों-द्वारा दो ठुकड़े कर दिये
sātyakiḥ samare rājan dvidhā ciccheda sāyakaiḥ |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ, സമരത്തിൽ സാത്യകി തന്റെ അമ്പുകളാൽ ആ ശക്തിയെ രണ്ടായി വെട്ടിമുറിച്ചു. ശത്രുവിന്റെ ഭുജബലത്തിൽ പ്രേരിതമായി അത് പെട്ടെന്ന് അവന്റെ മേൽ പതിക്കുമ്പോൾ, പറക്കുന്നതിനിടയിൽ തന്നേ സാത്യകി അമ്പുകളാൽ അതിനെ ഭേദിച്ച് ദ്വിഭാഗമാക്കി.
