भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः
Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead
धृष्टद्युम्नस्तथा राजन सौभद्रश्न महारथ: । हृष्टावाद्रवतां भीष्म॑ श्रुत्वा पार्थस्य भाषितम्,राजन! पार्थका वह भाषण सुनकर धृष्टद्युम्न तथा सुभद्राकुमार महारथी अभिमन्यु--ये दोनों वीर हर्ष और उत्साहमें भरकर भीष्मकी ओर दौड़े
dhṛṣṭadyumnas tathā rājan saubhadraś ca mahārathaḥ | hṛṣṭāv ādravatāṁ bhīṣmaṁ śrutvā pārthasya bhāṣitam ||
രാജാവേ! പാർത്ഥന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നനും സൌഭദ്രനായ മഹാരഥൻ അഭിമന്യുവും ഹർഷോത്സാഹത്തോടെ ഭീഷ്മന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞു.
