भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः

दुःशासनं शतेनाजौ नाराचानां समार्पयत् | भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको बाणोंसे पीड़ित हुआ देख अर्जुनका क्रोध उभड़ आया और उन्होंने दुःशासनको युद्धमें सौ नाराचोंसे घायल कर दिया
duḥśāsanaṃ śatenājau nārācānāṃ samārpayat | bhagavān śrīkṛṣṇo bāṇaiḥ pīḍitaḥ saṃdṛśya arjunasya krodhaḥ samudabhavat, sa ca duḥśāsanaṃ yuddhe śata-nārācaiḥ viddhavān |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ അമ്പുകളാൽ പീഡിതനായത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അർജുനന്റെ ക്രോധം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു. അപ്പോൾ അവൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദുഃശാസനനെ നൂറ് നാരാച അമ്പുകളാൽ പ്രഹരിച്ച് ഭീകരമായി പരിക്കേൽപ്പിച്ചു.
