भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः
Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead
अभिद्रवत मा भैष्ट भीष्मो हि प्राप्स्यते न व: । अर्जुनं समरे योद्धुं नोत्सहेतापि वासव:
abhidravata mā bhaiṣṭa bhīṣmo hi prāpsyate na vaḥ | arjunaṃ samare yoddhuṃ notsahetāpi vāsavaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മുന്നേറുക; ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട. ഭീഷ്മൻ നിങ്ങളെ എത്തിപ്പിടിക്കുകയില്ല. സമരത്തിൽ അർജുനനോട് യുദ്ധിക്കാൻ വാസവൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) പോലും ധൈര്യപ്പെടുകയില്ല.
