एवं व्यूह्ू महासैन्यं पाण्डवास्तव वाहिनीम् | अभ्यद्रवन्त संग्रामे त्यक्त्वा जीवितमात्मन:,इस प्रकार पाण्डवोंने अपनी विशाल सेनाके व्यूहका निर्माण करके संग्राममें अपने जीवनका मोह छोड़कर आपकी सेनापर धावा किया
evaṁ vyūhya mahāsainyaṁ pāṇḍavās tava vāhinīm | abhyadravanta saṅgrāme tyaktvā jīvitam ātmanaḥ ||
ഇങ്ങനെ പാണ്ഡവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മഹാസൈന്യത്തെ വ്യൂഹമായി നിരത്തി, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ സ്വന്തം ജീവനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ആസക്തി ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, നിങ്ങളുടെ സൈന്യത്തിലേക്ക് പാഞ്ഞുകയറി।
