समयस्तु कृत: कश्चिन्मम भीष्मेण संयुगे | मन्त्रयिष्ये तवार्थाय न तु योत्स्ये कथठ्चन

Transliteration

samayas tu kṛtaḥ kaścin mama bhīṣmeṇa saṁyuge | mantrayiṣye tavārthāya na tu yotsye kathaṁcana ||

Translation

യുദ്ധത്തിനിടയിൽ ഭീഷ്മനുമായി എനിക്ക് ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ഉടമ്പടി ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യമെന്ന നിലയിൽ ഞാൻ ഉപായങ്ങൾ ആലോചിച്ച് ഉപദേശം നൽകും; എന്നാൽ എങ്ങനെയും ഞാൻ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുകയില്ല.
