Daśame’hani Bhīṣma-yuddham — Śikhaṇḍī-rakṣaṇa, Arjuna-prabhāva, Duryodhana-āśraya-vākyam

प्रतिजग्राह राजेन्द्र तोयवृष्टिमिवाचल: । उन्होंने पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुनके रथपर बाणोंकी वर्षा प्रारम्भ कर दी। राजेन्द्र! अर्जुनने सब ओरसे होनेवाली उस बाण-वर्षाको उसी प्रकार ग्रहण किया, जैसे पर्वत जलकी वर्षाको धारण करता है

pratijagrāha rājendra toyavṛṣṭim ivācalaḥ |

രാജേന്ദ്രാ! അർജുനൻ എല്ലാ വശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുമെത്തിയ ആ ബാണവർഷത്തെ, അചലമായ പർവ്വതം മഴയെ താങ്ങുന്നതുപോലെ, അചഞ്ചലമായി സഹിച്ചു.
