स्वमंशं भगवान् व्यास: कुन्त्यै साक्षाद्धि मानत: । प्रददौ तस्य महतो हिरण्यस्य महाद्युति:,उस महान सुवर्णराशिमेंसे महातेजस्वी भगवान् व्यासने जो अपना भाग प्राप्त किया था, उसे उन्होंने बड़े आदरके साथ कुन्तीको भेंट कर दिया
svam aṁśaṁ bhagavān vyāsaḥ kuntyai sākṣād dhi mānataḥ | pradadau tasya mahato hiraṇyasya mahādyutiḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ള ഭഗവാൻ വ്യാസൻ ആ മഹത്തായ സ്വർണ്ണരാശിയിൽ നിന്നു തനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച ന്യായമായ പങ്ക് കൈപ്പറ്റി, അതു സ്വയം ആദരപൂർവ്വം കുന്തീദേവിക്കു നൽകി.
