युधिष्ठिरस्तु तान्‌ विप्रान्‌ प्रत्युवाच महामना:

yudhiṣṭhiras tu tān viprān pratyuvāca mahāmanāḥ |

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ മഹാമനസ്സനായ യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ ആ വിപ്രഋഷിമാരോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു—രാജധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ ഗൗരവത്തിനും നൈതിക ഉത്തരവാദിത്വത്തിനും യോജിച്ച സംയമിത മഹത്വത്തോടെ।
